5 reasons we're excited to launch @ Urban Outfitters

SweetSpot Labs launched at Urban Outfitters! The uber cool lifestyle retailer dedicated to all things creative and stylish is carrying SweetSpot. Not only do we think their well-curated mix of on-trend clothing, shoes, accessories, beauty, home goods, music and tech is the perfect place for SweetSpot, but we think they’re leading the charge when it comes to a few other things as well! Here are the top 5 reasons we are excited we launched at Urban Outfitters.

 1 Urban Outfitters Gives Back

We love that UO is committed to giving back to the community in a number of ways. The UO Community Cares program allows customers to purchase products online and have the proceeds aid in assisting projects including the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, the LGBTQ community and helping feed children in Mali. Urban Outfitters also gives back to charitable organizations including, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, ACHIEVEability, The MS Society, Operation Brotherly Love, and Children’s Scholarships.

 2 Ladies Who Lead

We love nothing more than women who are leading the charge! Enter, Trish Donnelly, CEO of Urban Outfitters! Similar to UO, SweetSpot Labs is also led by a fearless female, not only that but SweetSpot Labs is 100% female!

 3 Urban Loves Natural!

As many of you know, natural skin and body care products are here to stay in a big way. Not only are people caring about what they put in their body, but now more than ever they care what they are putting on their body. Urban Outfitters has always been a leader in discovering new and exciting trends whether it be in fashion or beauty, and that’s why we’re so excited to be partnering with them. SweetSpot Labs is proud to be a natural, feminine body care company that infuses only the best clean, natural ingredients and keeps the irritants out!

4 A New Corporate Culture

Similar to SweetSpot Labs, employees are motivated to think creatively and live a healthy work-life balance. Wellness, health and creativity are super important to UO employees. Bring your dog to work, intro to drawing, how to distress jeans or personal finance tips interest you? In their Brown Bag Workshops held every Friday, each session provides useful information on a variety of topics. These workshops give employees an opportunity to connect and tap into their artistic minds, not to mention it’s also the perfect way to end a busy work week.

5 Passion Through Partnerships

Global collaborations with both established and upcoming artists, creating products you just can’t find anywhere else is what makes Urban Outfitters so unique. Not only that, but they are partnering with some amazing women led companies that are trying to make a difference. Baggu is an environmentally conscious bag design company, based in Brooklyn, NY and San Francisco, CA. Founders, Emily Sugihara and her mom Joan, set out in 2007 to share the minimalist bags they were sewing for themselves with bag enthusiasts everywhere. They’re committed to making quality bags with as little waste as possible. Another example of this is the Urban Outfitters relationship with Della, an LA-based fashion line founded in 2009 by Tina Tangalakis, a former wardrobe stylist, who was looking to mix her love of design and humanitarian work after a visit to Ghana in 2009. Inspired by the friendships she had made, Tina created Della, a company focused on creating great fashion and helping the people of Hohoe, Ghana, where Della’s products are made.

These are just 5 of the many reasons we’re excited we launched at Urban Outfitters! We hope you are excited too, and come check us out in stores and online now!
